Han, now a foot soldier, spots a trio of thieves posing as Imperial soldiers and tries to blackmail his way into their gang. Beckett has him thrown into a pit to be fed to a Wookiee, where Han talks Chewbacca into escaping with him.

The new crew hits a moving train to cut away its coaxium container, with Han and Chewbacca working the couplers. Space pirates led by Enfys Nest arrive to hijack the shipment, and the plan falls apart.
