Selene and her Death Dealers hunt Lycans through a city subway. The fight ends with Selene noticing who the Lycans were really chasing, and the film's central pursuit begins.

Captured by the Lycans, Michael learns that Lucian once loved Viktor's daughter. Lucian says the Lycans were slaves of the vampires and rose up for freedom.
